Bold Endeavours sees software sales uplift.

Bold Endeavours President Derek Mansfield notes much improved increase in business activity in second quarter 2009.
“Our business is two areas, bespoke software and a range of custom built web systems. Both areas are seeing an increase but the really interesting sector is in our Big Easy web development products.
One of our biggest lines is targeted to a niche sector – online sales of professional footage clips. Buyers of footage clips are Film and TV studios, Advertising Agencies and marketing companies. Our Customers are the content owners who sell to these buyers.
We have seen a quadrupling of inquiries and sales in the last 3 months.
Our customers say they are buying systems because demand is building amongst TV studios and Ad Agencies - stock footage allows TV and commercial production to continue to be produced, but at lower cost."
Bold Endeavours also took the initiative in extending it’s own lines of credit to software buyers; in a credit hungry world this is proving successful. Most inquiries come from the USA and Britain but the company is in negotiations with Russian, Australian, German and Dutch businesses.
Mansfield continued “Times have been fairly tough since September last year but if this improvement continues we will soon be hiring more developers and management people in our Kiev production facility.”
